Our Culture

As we strive to create and maintain a culture of excellence and caring, these five Key Cultural Attributes set the tone for our actions and decisions:

Prioritize employee development and engagement

MMI doesn't exist without all of the kind, caring, and dedicated people who do the work, day in and day out. They are our culture and we will continue to invest in them, through career development training, employee engagement initiatives, and ongoing support programs.

Engage in open and transparent communication

We deeply value the trust and insight of our diverse, nationwide team. To maintain that trust and build a workplace where all voices can be heard, we're committed to promoting transparency and open communication at all levels.

Embrace innovation and creative solutions

While MMI has roots that stretch back over 60 years, we know that modern problems require modern solutions, and that the needs and means of consumers in crisis is forever changing. We will continue to look forward, seeking new ways to serve our clients.

Foster inclusion of diverse perspectives, backgrounds, values, and beliefs

As a nationwide organization with employees across dozens of states, we understand that the needs, challenges, and preferences of consumers can be incredibly varied. In order to serve everyone with equality and understanding, we are committed to amplifying diverse perspectives.

Demonstrate kindness and empathy

None of us are defined by our setbacks or our means or our privilege. We all want – and deserve – a chance to thrive. At MMI, we believe that everyone is entitled to kindness and dignity...because we've all been there before.
