Johanna Samara serves MMI as Vice President of Debt Resolution Program, where she leads the effort to develop and deliver highly affordable alternatives to traditional debt repayment solutions, ensuring that MMI is able to serve the widest range of consumers possible.

Johanna brings over 20 years of expertise in debt settlement, distinguished by her ability to drive business growth and operational excellence. During her 11-year tenure at Achieve (formerly Freedom Financial Network), she spearheaded innovative strategies that helped make settlement more accessible and effective for consumers in financial distress, including the implementation of transformative process changes that set new industry benchmarks. Johanna joined MMI in 2024 to lead the launch of our debt resolution program, designed to support consumers who need assistance with debt and could benefit from a principal reduction.

Before her time at Achieve, Johanna led groundbreaking initiatives at Debt Settlement USA, including the industry's first ISO 9001:2008 certification and the successful deployment of a CRM system that streamlined operations and elevated client satisfaction. 

Johanna is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt and holds multiple certifications from the American Banking Association in operational risk management, fraud prevention, and mortgage lending compliance. She combines technical expertise with strategic insight to solve complex challenges and foster a culture of accountability and empowerment that inspires teams to consistently exceed performance goals. She holds an Associate Degree in Business Management from Maple Woods College.
