As Chief External Affairs Officer, Michelle Jones provides the vision and leadership behind MMI’s ongoing commitment to developing new programs, services, and partnerships that address emerging consumer issues.

With a background in mental health, including a master’s degree in clinical psychology, Michelle has always been passionate about developing solutions that promote personal and community wellness. While serving as Chief Business and Development Officer at Clearpoint Credit Counseling Solutions, she was integral to the creation and launch of numerous programs designed to stabilize and support underserved communities, including military veterans and Hispanics.

Active in the local community, Michelle presently serves on the Leadership Council of Zoo Atlanta and is a founding board member of Project Light, a nonprofit accelerating racial equity efforts across Atlanta. She is an alumna of Leadership Atlanta’s class of 2020 and was named one of Atlanta Business Chronicle’s “40 Under 40” community leaders in 2010.

In her role as Chief External Affairs Officer, Michelle oversees MMI’s business development, marketing, fundraising, training, community education, and industry relations teams.
