As hopeless as it may feel, you have options. There are steps you can take and programs you may be eligible for. And while sorting through all that information may seem daunting, don't worry - that's what we're here for.

STUDENT LOAN COUNSELING

What happens during a session

Young couple considering how to pay down their student loans

A student loan counseling session from MMI begins by creating an overall picture of your present finances. Whether you complete your counseling purely online or with a live counselor, you will review your income, expenses, debt, and credit report.

After this, we review your student loans and their status. You will receive a breakdown of all of your available options, providing details on various student loan repayment programs you may qualify for. Then we discuss your personal goals and how these different options may impact your future plans.

Finally, we use an advanced decision engine to help provide recommendations tailored to your situation and goals. Once you've decided which path you'd like to pursue, we can provide additional guidance (if applicable).
