Money Management International (MMI) proudly provides nonprofit financial education and counseling to consumers struggling with debt, budgeting, housing, and student loan concerns. MMI’s services are available across the country over the phone, online, and face-to-face in select locations.
Office hours vary so please be sure to call ahead to set an appointment.
Counseling is available by telephone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so no matter where you live or what time of day it may be, when you’re ready to speak with a counselor, we’re here to help.
If you prefer a more self-directed experience, MMI also offers online counseling. Start anytime and go at your own pace—just be sure to have your most recent bills and statements on hand.
The National Council of Higher Education Resources (NCHER) is the nation’s oldest and largest higher education finance trade association. NCHER’s membership includes state, nonprofit, and for-profit higher education service organizations, including lenders, servicers, guaranty agencies, collection agencies, financial literacy providers, and schools, interested and involved in increasing college access and success. The National Foundation for Credit Counseling® (NFCC®), founded in 1951, is the nation’s largest and longest-serving nonprofit financial counseling organization. The NFCC’s mission is to promote the national agenda for financially responsible behavior, and build capacity for its members to deliver the highest-quality financial education and counseling services.
