Contest to encourage financial wellness

Posted on April 03, 2012

Houston (April 3, 2012) – April is National Financial Literacy Month! And, the perfect opportunity to take steps toward better finances. In honor of this important holiday, Money Management International (MMI), the creators of FinancialLiteracyMonth.com, invite you to celebrate this important month by taking steps to improve your overall financial well-being for a chance to win $500!

Joining the Financial Literacy Month Challenge is easy! Simply visit FinancialLiteracyMonth.com, take the pledge to take steps toward bettering your finances, and then share your experience. Share a photo capturing your challenge activity in action or you can share a tip for helping other navigate the challenge step. It’s totally up to you – we just want you to share your personal experience for a chance to win! It’s that simple.

Three challenge winners will be chosen at random upon the conclusion of Financial Literacy Month! Each of the three winners will receive a cash prize, which we hope is used to help reach a financial goal – whatever that may be.

The prizes are:

  • 1st place: $500
  • 2nd place: $300
  • 3rd place: $200

“We encourage everyone to join the thousands of consumers who have already taken the pledge to improve their financial wellness,” said Tanisha Warner, communications manager for MMI. “By visiting FinancialLiteracyMonth.com and simply clicking a button, consumers can take the first challenge step – and more importantly – the first step toward better finances.”
