Chief Development Officer

Michelle Jones joined Money Management International (MMI) in 2017, serving as Chief Development Officer for MMI and Executive Director of the Clearpoint division. As such, Ms. Jones has responsibility for MMI’s fundraising and philanthropic development. Additionally, she leads the external affairs, business development, and customer service delivery teams that provide financial counseling, coaching, and education services to the customers, employees, and members of Clearpoint’s referral partners, which include financial institutions, employers, colleges & universities, and other nonprofits.

Prior to joining MMI, Ms. Jones was the Executive Vice President and Chief Business & Development Officer of Clearpoint, where she led the fundraising, business development, relationship management, and external affairs divisions. Ms. Jones has also served as an operations executive and led national service and program delivery for Clearpoint as its Senior Vice President for over a decade. Prior to joining Clearpoint, Ms. Jones served in several health and human service positions, including clinical roles with Gwinnett-Rockdale-Newton Community Service Board and Gwinnett Medical Center.

Ms. Jones serves on the Leadership Council of Zoo Atlanta and the Atlanta Neighborhood Development Partnership’s Advisory Council. She is a member of the Junior League of Atlanta and Leadership DeKalb, and was a graduate of the 2007 inaugural class of the Executive Leadership Program for Non-Profit Organizations jointly presented by the Georgia Center for Nonprofits, the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies at Georgia State University, and Emory University’s Goizueta Business School. In 2009, Atlanta Woman magazine honored Jones as a “Woman on the Way,” in recognition of her leadership within the agency and her industry. In 2010, Jones was recognized by Atlanta Business Chronicle as one of the “40 Under 40” leaders in the city.

Ms. Jones received her undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Georgia and holds a master’s degree in clinical psychology from Georgia Southern University.
