Money Management International reveals Love and Money survey results and offers financial resources for couples

Posted on February 14, 2011

It’s been said that money can’t buy happiness, but Money Management International’s Love and Money Survey shows that 89 percent of married couples with annual household incomes of $50,000 or more say they are happy compared to 79 percent of couples with an annual household income below that level. According to 63 percent of the unhappily married couples’ surveyed, financial issues is the primary source of unhappiness, which is a big increase from the 59 percent who cited the same in 2009.

Financial security is important to the success of a relationship, which is why the educators at Money Management International (MMI) offer resources designed especially for couples who want to better manage their money and improve their financial lives.
